I graduated in 2000 with a First Class Batchelor of Science honours degree in Biological Sciences from Exeter University.
I then trained for 4 years at the British School of Osteopathy, London, qualifying in 2005.
I have attended a series of Sutherland Cranial College post-graduate cranial courses.
I have a Unique Insight:
I am a busy mum of two beautiful boys who both received Cranial Osteopathic Treatment as new-born babies. So I have walked in your shoes. I have been on the other side of the osteopathic treatment table. I am a parent who has actually lived through what you are going through right now, (the highs and lows of early parenthood) & I know how stressful it can be.
I have experienced motherhood with a very unsettled baby who can’t sleep or can’t feed.
Thankfully, I also know the relief of having my children treated promptly and seeing the benefits.
Having experienced, first-hand the heartache a mother feels when their baby is distressed, uncomfortable and struggling to feed. It has allowed me to fully appreciate from both the practitioner’s & parents perspective, the utter relief and joy the whole family feels to see your baby finally, totally relax (maybe for the first time), during their cranial osteopathic treatment.
Prompt cranial osteopathic treatment for your new-born, (albeit no child is “too old” for treatment), is not simply a pampering massage experience. Their relaxation has far reaching positive repercussions for their health & wellbeing, (which also positively impacts the whole family).
I, like many other parents, believe that prompt cranial osteopathic treatment is probably, one of the best things we can do for our babies.
As one of my patient’s parents once told me "it was the best money I ever spent"!
